SHIM-IT Corp. was established in 1982. It’s founders had over 30 years of combined experience in the shim business at that time, this contributed significantly to the establishment and growth of the company. Today, under the same management/ ownership SHIM-IT Corp. continues to manufacture high quality shims at low prices with quick deliveries.
SHIM-IT Corp. is unique in that it combines a machine shop with a light metal stamping facility. This gives the company the depth to not only stamp shims, but to machine spacers, blocks, and related items. Almost all of the parts we make are for commercial aircraft manufacturers and, accordingly, the company works to an ISO9001/AS9100 quality system. This allows us to maintain an excellent reputation for quality, with year after year 0-PPM rejection rates for many of our customers.
